HEIGHTENED TRESPASSER AWARENESS-FIFA WORLD CUP ACTIVITIES

Due to increased activity within the Kansas City metropolitan area associated with FIFA World Cup events, all employees are advised to remain alert for additional unauthorized persons and trespassers on or near KCT property, tracks, yards, right-of-way, bridges, and railroad facilities.

Employees are specifically reminded that Kansas City Union Station is serving as a World Cup event center and increased pedestrian traffic and public presence are expected throughout the area.

Employees observing trespassers, unauthorized persons, or suspicious activity must immediately report the location and circumstances to the KCT Dispatcher. Reports should include the exact location, direction of travel, physical description of individuals, and any associated vehicles whenever possible.

Employees are reminded not to engage trespassers unless necessary for immediate safety concerns. Maintain situational awareness and exercise caution at all times.
